COURSE ENROLMENT TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Please read the following prior to commencing your enrolment with Blush Academy. By purchasing any of our courses, you acknowledge that you have understood and agree to the expectations, policies and procedures determined by Blush Academy, including but not limited to items listed below.
Course delivery:
Blush Academy is a committed to providing an exceptional learning environment to equip learners with essential skills for professional employment in the industry. Blush Academy implements a range of learning techniques combining theory lessons, pre-recorded video and practical demonstrations, live zoom training calls and where possible, face-to-face delivery throughout the course(s).
Fees & Terms of Payment:
Full and complete course payment must be made at the time of purchase/enrolment. All fees are clearly listed and advertised on the Blush Academy Website. Course fees are exclusive of any course materials.
PayLater options are available using PayPal and LayBuy, allowing you to spread payments over a flexible term, dependant on time frame for that service. Blush Academy accepts no responsibility for any late payment or inability to pay with these services. Your payment contract is with the provider, not Blush Academy.
The course fee includes:
Delivery of specialized training in a dedicated online learning environment.
Provision of face-to-face training for specialized learning (course specific).
Instant & ongoing access to online learning managment system and student portal.
Access to any and all course content updates.
Parchment/certificate of completion.
What is not included in the fee?
Costs involved in transportation to and from training.
Provision of products, tools and equipment required for specialized learning.
Restocking of Kit equipment and/or product.
Replacement makeup kit if original is lost or damaged.
Additional/Catch-up classes or Re-assessment.
What other fees and charges are there?
Re-issuance of a Parchment (Fee: $55)
Makeup Brush Kit (Cost: $550)
Failure to return hard copy training materials belonging to Blush Academy (Fee: $200)
Blush Academy reserves the right to suspend training and assessment services to students with outstanding fees.
Certificates/Parchments will only be issued at the completion of the course once fees have been paid in full.
The student is responsible for all fees and additional costs unless an employer agreement stating otherwise exists between the student’s employer and Blush Academy.
ABSENCE, DEFERMENT AND WITHDRAWAL
Absence:
Students are required to notify Blush Academy of absence prior to the class. Absence of classes may impact the progress of training, and students are expected to make arrangements for catching-up and/or completing the course on time.
Deferment/Withdrawal of Enrolment:
A student wishing to defer or withdraw during any given study period, they will be required to provide written notification to the Director. A student will only be granted approval to defer/suspend studies based on medical grounds (with a medical certificate) or exceptional compassionate circumstances. Withdrawal may be granted following a verbal discussion with the Director.
Refunds:
Due to the nature of online learning, refunds are not given for any online courses, no exceptions. Where the student has enrolled in a face-to-face delivery course and the student has not received their training materials nor commenced any training sessions, refunds may be granted under specific circumstances following discussion with the director.
Students are not eligible for a refund based on non-competence of course requirements or failure to undertake/complete a lesson.
Fees are non-refundable to students who chose not to complete the course once it has commenced.
Students no longer wishing to complete the course once it has commenced, are required to provide 4 weeks’ notice to the Director.
Inability to Deliver Training
If Blush Academy cannot deliver a course, where possible, Blush Academy will arrange reasonable alternative course dates and times for students. If Blush Academy cannot provide an alternative course date/time, all fees paid in advance, including deposits and short course up-front payments will be fully refunded. If Blush Academy has commenced a course but is unable to fulfil its agreements to provide training services, Blush Academy will refund that proportion of payments made for which training services were not received by the client.
Complaints
Complaints can be lodged either verbally or in writing. Written complaints are to be addressed to the Director. Refer to Blush Academy’s Complaints and Appeals Policy and Procedure for details.
BLUSH ACADEMY REFUND POLICY
We have a strict 20 day return policy, which means you have 20 business days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unopened or unused and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
To start a return, you can contact us at hello@blushacademy.com.au. If your return is accepted, you are responsible for return shipping cost. You will be provided with instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues:
Please inspect your order and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue.
Refunds:
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items, gift cards and/or online training courses.
Exchanges
We do not offer exchanges. The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

This website is operated by Blush Academy. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Blush Academy. Blush Academy offers this website, including all information, tools and services available from this site to you, the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies and notices stated here.
By visiting our site and/ or purchasing something from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions (“Terms of Service”, “Terms”), including those additional terms and conditions and policies referenced herein and/or available by hyperlink. These Terms of Service apply to all users of the site, including without limitation users who are browsers, vendors, customers, merchants, and/ or contributors of content.

Our store is hosted on WordPress.com. We use the WooCommerce plugin to manage the e-commerce platform to sell our products and services to you, and LearnDash to provide the online learning management system. Other plugins are installed on this website to facilitate and support both of our online store and online training capabilities.
SECTION 1 – ONLINE STORE TERMS
By agreeing to these Terms of Service, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence, or that you are the age of majority in your state or province of residence and you have given us your consent to allow any of your minor dependents to use this site.
You may not use our products for any illegal or unauthorized purpose nor may you, in the use of the Service, violate any laws in your jurisdiction (including but not limited to copyright laws).
You must not transmit any worms or viruses or any code of a destructive nature.
A breach or violation of any of the Terms will result in an immediate termination of your Services.

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.

Credit card information is always encrypted during transfer over networks.

We are not responsible if information made available on this site is not accurate, complete or current. Prices for our products are subject to change without notice.

Certain products or services may be available exclusively online through the website. These products or services may have limited quantities and are subject to return or exchange only according to our Return Policy.
We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colors and images of our products that appear at the store. We cannot guarantee that your computer monitor’s display of any color will be accurate.
We reserve the right, but are not obligated, to limit the sales of our products or Services to any person, geographic region or jurisdiction. We may exercise this right on a case-by-case basis. We reserve the right to limit the quantities of any products or services that we offer. All descriptions of products or product pricing are subject to change at anytime without notice, at the sole discretion of us. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time. Any offer for any product or service made on this site is void where prohibited.
We do not warrant that the quality of any products, services, information, or other material purchased or obtained by you will meet your expectations, or that any errors in the Service will be corrected.
SECTION 6 – ACCURACY OF BILLING AND ACCOUNT INFORMATION
We reserve the right to refuse any order you place with us. We may, in our sole discretion, limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, per household or per order. These restrictions may include orders placed by or under the same customer account, the same credit card, and/or orders that use the same billing and/or shipping address. In the event that we make a change to or cancel an order, we may attempt to notify you by contacting the e‑mail and/or billing address/phone number provided at the time the order was made. We reserve the right to limit or prohibit orders that, in our sole judgment, appear to be placed by dealers, resellers or distributors.
You agree to provide current, complete and accurate purchase and account information for all purchases made at our store. You agree to promptly update your account and other information, including your email address and credit card numbers and expiration dates, so that we can complete your transactions and contact you as needed.

BLUSH ACADEMY STOCK AND SHIPPING POLICY
Blush Academy is a small operation and we aim to keep our costs as low as possible to be able to offer the absolute best price for you, the consumer. For this reason, some of the items we sell are sold through the drop-shipping method. We are very lucky that our suppliers are happy to support us by holding our stock in their warehouse and ship directly to you, the purchaser. In this way we are able to avoid doubling up on shipping costs and ongoing monthly warehousing fees.
Not all of Blush Academy stock is done in this way, it is only the large electrical items that we do this with. Other, small items are kept in stock.
Occasionally, some of our items go out of stock. When this happens, the stock will be shipped to you as soon as new stock arrives, or direct from the manufacturer if they support us in this way.
Blush Academy allows 5 business days to process and ship your order. If there is any anticipated delay with your order, you will be notified.
