Blush Academy is an online training academy, so regardless of where you are located, you can study with us. All of our courses are hosted online at http://www.blushacademy.com.au and can be completed from the comfort and convenience of your home or workplace. We offer live video training courses with several of our online courses, in order to facilitate and enhance student learning outcomes. Additionally, live video training sessions can be purchased at a cost of $150/hour.

While most of our courses are delivered exclusively online, our Certificate of Professional Makeup Artistry and Spray Tanning Masterclass are delivered via face-to-face training only at our training facility in Adelaide, South Australia. 

Additionally, interstate training can be accomodated at an additional cost.

Once you are logged into the Blush Academy website, you can access your training via the courses page OR via your user dashboard.

Once you have completed your theory, if your course requires you to complete a one on one training session, email Jo at hello@blushacademy.com.au to arrange your training at a mutually agreeable time. 

Live training calls are scheduled Mondays, Tuesdays & Wednesdays between the hours 9am-5pm ACST. Alternatively, a time outside of these may be arranged on request, if absolutely necessary.

Our online courses combine theory, quizzes, pre-recorded video demonstrations and live, one on one training calls.

Absolutely! As long as Blush Academy is operational, you will retain your student access and that includes any and all updates to the course materials.

Blush Academy is a boutique academy offering in-depth training that is not affiliated with any particular brand. We offer kits for Microneedling and BB Glow that are machine only. Blush Academy is soley owned and operated by a single person, who is also running a beauty salon. I do not have the capacity to take on large accounts and huge amounts of stock required to have wholesale accounts with the brands I would choose to partner with, so instead I provide links to reputable suppliers selling genuine products.

Our low course prices reflect the fact that kits are not included.

Blush Academy offers PayLater options through PayPal and LayBuy. These are available at checkout. But seriously, if money worries are holding you back from joining any of our courses, talk to our team and we’ll be happy to see if we can find a solution for you.

Blush Academy is not an RTO. Our owner and trainer Jo has a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and has taught at many private and RTO academies since 2005, prior to launching Blush Academy.

Blush Academy is a registered training provider through the CPD group, but this is not affiliated with the RTO network or AQF.

The courses that Blush Academy offer are not courses that are currently offered as part of the standard Beauty Therapy Diploma qualification, and there is currently no module of competency available in Australia for these modalities, therefore ANY academy offering these courses offers thems outside of the national Hair & Beauty training package, regardless of their status as an RTO.

TLDR: RTO Status is not required for any of the courses we offer.
